To send an email to the NW club,
send it to nightworld@topica.com. There is a
digest option, which helps to cut down on the amount of emails in your box. You still get
every letter sent to the list over the couse of a day, but you will get them in one big
fat email.
If you unsubbed yourself from the
list and do not inform Cassie, she will not mail you back and ask why you took yourself
off the list. If she doesn't know why you totally removed yourself, she will treat is as
though you have quit the club.
To get off the list
temporarily or switch to digest, please email Cassie.
Note : When you hit reply on the
list, it will go straight back to the author. That will actually help keep unessential
emails off the list. Please do NOT send it to the person who wrote it AND the listserver.
That person will get two copies of your letter and that is extremely annoying, not to
mention time consuming.
You WILL get a copy of your own
letter. That is how you will know if your message gets through. You don't need to resend
your message if you get a copy of it. Sometimes, servers are slow, so give your message a
day to show up.
Besides
the main Night World mailing list, we have two other mailing lists that are associated
with the Night World mailing list as well. The NW RPG and NW Writings
lists. The first two lists are optional, meaning you can join or quit anytime you wish.
A brief explanation, the NW RPG list is
basically a role-playing mailing list. Over there, you can play your own characters out to
your heart's content. The NW Writings list is set aside for writings belonging to the NW
members.
To
subscribe to the NW Writings list, send a blank e-mail to nw_writings-subscribe@topica.com. If
you want to change your profile, the format of the emails you're receiving, or catch up on
posts you have missed out, go to http://www.topica.com
To join the NW RPG list,
send an email to thegame_masters@nightworld.net
and ask to be subbed to the list.
