What is your favorite LJS book? TVD4: Dark Reunion
Why is this your favorite book? I read Dark Reunion on accident first, and it's what prompted me to "finish" the trilogy. It's just so sad...and it also introduces a darker side of Fell's Church...the Smallwoods.
Why do you like LJS? She's clear, adds mystery and describes without going into 5 pages worth of boring detail. She says what she has to to get the idea across, and the events flow easily. I've really enjoyed her imagination for the young adult horror genre. She knows how to evoke emotion.
What is your favorite book overall (of every author)? The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck
What character(s) did you identify with? Meredith Sulez and Bonnie McCullough
What character(s) did you fall in love with? Stefan from VD and Adam from SC
What character(s) did you admire/want to be like? pretty much all of them since they each have their inherent qualities
What is your goal in life? to understand people and their cultures through travel, and journalism

Why do you like LJS? I like her style because very few people write about magic the way she does

Why is this your favorite book? I like this book because it was the very first NW/L.J. Smith book I read. It was also the book that got me hooked into reading vampire/witch/ 'wolves books.
Why do you like LJS? I like her stlye of writing because it draws me into the story and makes me feel like im one of the characters.
What is your favorite book overall (of every author)? tough one.......i dont have a favorite overall (theres too many to pick from) but heres a few.. demon in my view by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.. Wither by J.G. Passarella...and most of L.J. Smiths books
What character(s) did you identify with? Maggie, Mary-lynnette, Gillian, Jez and Elena (for multiple reasons lol)
What character(s) did you fall in love with? Ash (great sense of humor), Delos (2 words Medieval Prince), Morgead (hot vamp w/ a 'cycle wat more could you want lol), Stefan (so romantic) and Damon (sarcastic as hell ... luv it lol)
What character(s) did you admire/want to be like? i admire almost all of her characters because no-matter how tough the situation gets they always find a way to get through it.
What is your goal in life? My most recent goal in life is to get through
college, major in History and maybe travel to Europe to see the historical sites
myself.

Why is this your favorite book? It's the first LJS book I read and I was totally captured, couldn't put it down!
Why do you like LJS? I love the themes she deals with and she has the power to keep me stuck to her pages.

Why is this your favorite book? I thought this book was the most exciting because of the web of lies Elena finds herself trapped in, and also because you never know when Damon's going to pop up next.
Why do you like LJS?: Whenever I read her books for the fiftieth or five hundredth time, I feel like I'm being reunited with old friends.

What character(s) did you identify with? I think Meredith I'm more the quiet, watchful type
What character(s) did you fall in love with? Definitely Damon
What character(s) did you admire/want to be like? Elena, because of her strength. Not many people could have done what she did in the end.
What is your goal in life? To be an author myself, and to be able to capture a reader like LJS can
Comments: It's a great story that can keep someone hooked for seven years. This is what The Vampire Diaries have done for me. My books are literally falling apart I'm actually missing chapters. I remain in awe of LJS's ability to create a world and all the people in it, then make you feel like you belong there, too.
