What are your favorite LJS books? The Forbidden Game Trilogy, Huntress
Why are these your favorite books? Forbidden Game: I just fell in love with Julian, and the whole storyline was one of *the* most original I've read in ages. Great non-stereotypical characters (with the possible exception of Jenny, even though what she did in the end was really indicative of a strong nature and someone worthy of respect) and the story just seemed to draw you in. Plus, The Kill is the only LJS book yet to make me cry.
Huntress: what can I say? I want to *be* Jez, and I want Morgead! I loved all the Wild Power and prophecies stuff; and Jez being a human/vampire mix, once the leader of a vampire gang, now turned vamp-hunter daybreaker with a "vampire's vampire" for a soulmate - plus the last scene (spoilers...) was SO romantic, in its own way. : )
Why do you like LJS? She's a great author bringing originality to a popular 90's genre, and can make characters so real you fall for them, hate them, or idolize them. She makes you wish the Night World were real, and/or that a young Shadowman would sweep you off your feet...
What is your favorite book overall (of every author)? I'll have to get back to you on that one. Probably the Huntress, Forbidden Game trilogy or the Remember Me trilogy by Christopher Pike.
