Update: Sun 14 Mar 2004 I've been so busy setting up the new archiving system that I forgot to report about it on this page. The new script is eFiction. With it, comes the end of hand coding pages, easy copy & paste upload, text upload, search capabilities, etc. It also means the end of separate Poetry and Short Story pages. Instead, all new updates can be found in one place, at http://awakening.nightworld.net/fanfic/. The content on these pages have not been transferred over yet, but I'm hoping to have them transferred as soon as possible. Until then, you can still read the poetry here and stories in the stories section. If you have any problems, or suggestions, a form has been set up at http://awakening.nightworld.net/fanfic/email/form.php.

For those who don't already know, Red of Twilight Tales is running a contest, the third annual Bloody Quills L. J. Smith fanwork contest.

Submissions are open and details can be found at http://www.ttales.net/bloodyquills/.

Also, trying a new script in the poetry section. With the new script, you should be able to pass the mouse point over the title of a poem or song you're interested in reading to find out if there are any spoilers, notes, or disclaimers pertaining to the the work. All information should pop up in a small box (tooltip). If all goes well, I should be able to implement changes in the fanfic section. Email if there are any problems, or if you just don't like the idea of a tooltip and prefer a seperate column for notes pertaining to the archived works. Flexiblity is my name and I was tease mercilessly in grade school for it :)
